Are you ready for your Tarot Class?

Join Valerie Friend for a six-week immersion into the amazing world of divination. We will be utilizing the Rider Waite Smith deck to explore archetypes, numerology, the court and pip cards to set the foundation for your personal Tarot Journey. We will begin pulling and reading cards as well as practicing Tarot meditation and magic. This class is appropriate for beginners but will also enhance any Tarot practice.

This class will give you an excellent base from which to build practices that will enhance your everyday life.

You’ll walk away with:

  • A basic foundation in the Rider Waite Smith Tarot Deck *required for the class

  • A personal practice that students can continue to utilize after the class

  • Knowledge of The Major Arcana, Court, and Pip cards

  • How to bring your own intuition into your Tarot related activities

  • 3 different card spreads including the classic Celtic Cross

tarot is not a predictive art, but more of a prescriptive way of looking at situations and how to work with them.

Tarot is an evolving practice. You will learn the skills necessary to build a lifelong practice of reading tarot for yourself and others.

Six weeks of live classes will include:

  •  Introduction, housekeeping, and Tarot ethics

  •  The Suits and their correspondences

  • The Hero’s Journey and the Major Arcana

  •  The Pip Cards. Elements, Directions, Progressions, and Patterns

  • The Court Cards - Pages, Knights, Queens, and Kings

Live Weekly Office hours with Valerie on Mondays from 5:30-6:30p EST

All live events are videotaped. You can catch them live or on replay, then review them as often as you like.

As instructors, we have a combined depth of experience that is rare, and our love for our mission, for each other and for our students creates change on both an inner and outer level that is unique.

Valerie Friend

Valerie Friend is a professional Tarot reader, Reiki Master, and Working Witch.

  • For decades she has read cards, created rituals, and provided support for tender matters. Valerie is the popular host of Tea & Tarot with Valerie Friend, her weekly Facebook live, Sunday mornings at 11:00am EST. Additionally, she spent years in academia and community based human services honing her teaching skills. Yes she’s a little outrageous, but it’s always balanced with compassion.

    Valerie also holds a B.A. from Wells College in History and Women’s Studies and a M.S. in Student Services Administration. With a certification in Adult Education, she is familiar with different learning styles as well as supporting adult learners.
