The science of yoga is capable of bringing lasting transformation, helping you live up to your true potential. Historically, yoga was taught 1-on-1 . Only recently did yoga start being taught as group fitness classes. If you are ready to dive deep and practice the path of peace, of freedom, of joy, our individual programs may be for you. One of our offerings is the ‘Sweet Silence 12-week program‘. (This program has limited enrollment – only 2 spots available at this time)
With our caring support, you can learn yoga practices that can meet your needs, support your body, mind, and spirit, and help you excel in life. Together we plan a schedule, location, and format customized to meet you where you are.
When we work 1-on-1 (or in a small group with your friends / family), you’ll learn to support your body, mind and heart in a way that best fits your life and goals, in complete privacy and confidentiality. Our private sessions can be focused on learning yoga, improving your health, or we can offer you private yoga therapy if you are recovering from injury, illness, or a chronic condition such as scoliosis or back pain.
Our ongoing support and coaching will help you be your best, and if you wish, we can create gentle accountability to help you establish discipline around your practice, and allow you to experience first-hand the peace and freedom that can be found inside of steady practice.
In our private work together we will weave a tapestry of yoga, breathwork, meditations, restorations and deep rest from many traditions of yoga. Gentle yoga is merged with postures to build strength and alignment and practices that increase energy. Deep rest concludes each session, leaving you alert and ready for the rest of your day. You can ask as many questions as you like as we go along, and even record our sessions for later review and practice.
Here is how our private classes work:
A 30 minute initial consultation
We will meet at the yoga farm or on the phone, to get to know each other, discuss goals and experience and explore intentions and reasons for engaging private practice. cost: free (at Yoga Farm or phone/Skype)
A full private yoga session, for one person, a couple, or two friends
The initial session is 75-90 minutes long, follow-on sessions are 60-75 minutes. We start with about 5-10 minutes of discussion to clarify goals for the session, followed by appropriate yoga, mindfulness and meditation practices, and a wrap up talk at the end for questions and to offer suggestions for ongoing practice. cost: $90 for one session (at Yoga Farm, travel additional)
Five private yoga sessions
With five sessions planned together, we’ll be able to go deeply into specific yoga sequences tuned for your body and mind. Each session is scheduled at your convenience, and will build on core fundamentals appropriate to your physical and emotional condition. You’ll have the chance in between our sessions to practice what we are learning and return with questions for refinement and deepening of your experience and learning. cost: $375 (at Yoga Farm, travel additional)

Christopher specially tailored our meditation and mindfulness session according to goals that my husband and I had set but had not moved towards.
